Human Design Called. It Has Notes on Your Money Decisions.

Human Design sorts everyone into five Types, each with its own way of making choices. Applied to money, it gets uncomfortably specific about why you buy what you buy.

A very young system with a very precise wheel

Human Design was assembled in 1987 by Ra Uru Hu, who blended astrology, the I Ching, and a few other systems into a mandala of 64 gates, one for each I Ching hexagram, each gate covering exactly 5.625 degrees of sky. Your birth moment drops planets onto that wheel, and out comes your Type and your Authority, which is HD's word for how you are built to decide.

You do not need to believe the cosmology to notice the Types describe five decision styles you have absolutely met at a dinner party.

The five Types, holding money

Read all five again and notice which one you just defended. That one is probably yours.

What the app does with your Type, and the part we invented

The Type derivation is straight from the tradition: the app computes your chart on the Rave Mandala the way Ra Uru Hu's system specifies, cross-checked against the standard references.

The next step is ours, and we say so. HD doctrine defines decision strategies. It has no opinion about equity sectors. So when the app tilts a Generator toward industrials, staples, and tech (the build-respond-repeat posture, weighted 3, 2, and 2), that mapping is this app's own synthesis, labeled as such in the code. It is a reasonable translation of the Type's flavor into market furniture. It is not scripture, and we would rather you know that than trust us more.

And the standing honesty note: no lens in this app predicts returns, this one included. We checked real charts against shuffled ones through the full engine and the real ones did not do better. What HD gives you is a vocabulary for your decision style, and around money, a vocabulary for your impulses is worth having.

Try it in the app: Astro-Edge derives your Type and Authority from your birth moment and shows the sector posture it builds from them, with the synthesis step labeled honestly.

FAQ

What is my Human Design type? Type is derived from your exact birth date, time, and place, computed on Human Design's 64-gate wheel. The five Types are Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, and Reflector, and each comes with a decision strategy such as responding, waiting for the invitation, or informing before acting.

How does Human Design relate to money? The tradition itself describes decision styles, not investments: Generators respond to opportunities, Projectors wait for recognition, Reflectors wait a lunar cycle. Any mapping from Types to specific industries, including this app's, is a modern synthesis rather than original HD doctrine.

Which Human Design type is best with money? None. The system's own teachers frame every Type as equally capable when it decides in its native style, and there is no evidence any Type produces better financial outcomes. The useful part is noticing how you tend to decide, then choosing on purpose.
