Life Path number calculator
Your birthday, added up. The math happens on this page and goes nowhere, and your number comes back with a money habit you will recognise at once and deny for a week.
How the number is worked out
Add every digit of your full birth date. Born December 7, 1990? That is 1+9+9+0+1+2+0+7 = 29, then 2+9 = 11. Most totals keep shrinking to one digit, but numerology stops at 11, 22 and 33, the master numbers. That is the whole calculation: no birth time, no city, no ephemeris. The longer story is in numerology and money.
The twelve Life Paths, and what each does with money
- Life Path 1, The Serial Starter: You have three of these open in other tabs right now. You will start the fourth before closing any of them.
- Life Path 2, The Long Decider: You have been about to buy the same thing since spring. Your reasons are excellent and there are more of them every week.
- Life Path 3, The Out-Loud Thinker: You explained the whole thesis at dinner. You have not actually placed the trade.
- Life Path 4, The Spreadsheet Keeper: You have a tab for this. It has a tab. You update it more often than you touch the account.
- Life Path 5, The Price Checker: You have refreshed the same number four times since you sat down. It has not moved. You will check again.
- Life Path 6, The Default Treasurer: You became the one who handles the money because nobody else would. You have not once been thanked for it.
- Life Path 7, The Deep Reader: You read the whole filing. You are the only person you know who did, and you will not bring it up.
- Life Path 8, The System Builder: You do not have picks, you have rules, and you would like it noted that the rules are working.
- Life Path 9, The Board Explainer: You can explain anyone else's money calmly and completely. Yours you have not looked at since spring.
- Life Path 11, The Early One: You were in before it had a name. You have been waiting for everyone else to notice ever since.
- Life Path 22, The Long Builder: You are building something that outlasts the quarter. You have told no one how far out you are actually thinking.
- Life Path 33, The Weight Carrier: You are holding a number in your head for people who do not know you are holding it.
Questions people ask
How do I calculate my Life Path number?
Write your birth date as digits, month, day and four-digit year, and add every digit together. Then add the digits of that total, and keep going until one digit is left. If you land on 11, 22 or 33 on the way, stop there: those are master numbers.
Why does my 11 not reduce to a 2?
Numerology keeps 11, 22 and 33 whole as master numbers, read as the base number with more voltage. They are often written 11/2, 22/4 and 33/6 so you can see the number underneath.
Does this calculator send my birthday anywhere?
No. The adding up happens in your browser, on this page. Nothing is sent unless you choose to email yourself the read, and even then only the number goes with your email, never the date.
Is my Life Path number a money forecast?
No. It is a personality sketch from the numerology literature, and the money habit is our own reading of it. We tested whether charts and numbers like this predict markets, and they do not. It describes how you tend to decide, not what the market does next.
Your Life Path is one vote of seven. The chart counts the rest. Free, about a minute, no card.
A Life Path describes how you decide, not what any market will do. We tested whether charts and numbers carry a return signal and published the result: they do not. All the money archetypes · The money archetype quiz
